memoQ Web is a browser-based working environement for translators, project managers and reviewers that comes with memoQ server.
Benefits of using memoQ Web
Work on browser-based window
With memoQ Web there is no need to install memoQ on your computer. You can just open a web browser and get started with your project management or translation jobs.
The power of memoQ
memoQ Web provides almost all the functionality available in the memoQ desktop client in a simplified way.
: memoQ Web is only available for customers with a memoQ server or cloud server license.
How does it work?
Here you can see the typical workflows in memoQ Web from the perspective of translators and project managers.
Once the project manager launches the project, you will receive an email notification with a link to log into memoQ WebTrans (the web interface for translators). You will see a list of documents assigned and have access to translation memory, term base and LiveDocs resources.
You can open the documents in a browser environment similar to the memoQ desktop editor (see image below). The source segments (1) will be on the left-hand side and target segments (2) on the right. To the right of the translation grid the translator will see the translation resulsts list (3) and below
the preview pane (4).
If the document has pre-translation the translator will also see the matching segements.
When the job is done, click "deliver" to indicate that the work was performed. Every translated segment is saved in your online projects, and project managers can see the progress in real-time.
Once a project is created on the memoQ server, it will appear also in memoQ web, where you can access the project, manage documents and user asignments online (see image below).
You can also create new projects directly on the web interface.
