memoQ plugin for SDL Trados Studio
Today openness and online collaboration are key elements of technologies all over the world. Connecting from tool A to the online services of tool B is essential, otherwise users get locked inside isolated clouds with no connecting rainbows.
With the memoQ plugin for SDL Trados Studio, Kilgray takes interoperability to the next level: the plugin allows users of SDL Trados Studio to access translation memories both from
and from memoQ servers.

The memoQ plugin for SDL Trados Studio offers the following functionality:
Connection to a memoQ server:
Providing translation memory lookup results in SDL Trados Studio’s translation editor.
Concordance searches from SDL Trados Studio’s translation editor.
Updating remote translation memories by confirming segments.
Using lookup results from remote translation memories in statistics and pre-translation within Studio.
Connection to Language Terminal:
A configuration interface where you can enter Language Terminal credentials.
Navigating own translation memories as well as translation memories shared by other users over Language Terminal.
Note: We are proud of our efforts to increase interoperability. Unfortunaltey, SDL has refused to sign our memoQ plugin for SDL Trados Studio without giving a reason. Don't be afraid to install this plugin despite the pop-up window that appears whenever you use it. It is stable, tested and there is no risk involved in using it.
