Balázs Kis

Chairman of the Board

Balázs is one of the founders of Kilgray, with decades of experince in IT, translation, and natural language processing. He has a degree in IT engineering and a PhD in applied linguistics from the University of Pécs. At the start of his career, he was a Microsoft systems engineer and trainer and one of the prominent Hungarian IT authors with over 20 titles published. He was also the head of research and development at MorphoLogic, and taught translation technology at the ELTE University of Budapest. He’s got massive experience in collaborative translation and project management. In addition to his board duties, he is responsible for technical communication and knowledge management at Kilgray.

Florian Sachse

Production Manager

Florian manages the development of memoQ, WebTrans and QTerm. He has been working for Kilgray since 2013. One of his first development projects dating more than 30 years back was to get German umlaute into an English word processor application. As managing director of PASS Engineering, the initial focus was the development of mission critical software for clinical analyzers. It was not until 1998 that Florian got involved in language technology when PASS Engineering introduced the leading software localization solution PASSOLO to the market. Since then he has stayed loyal to the localization industry.

Norbert Oroszi

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Norbert Oroszi is the Chief Executive Officer at Kilgray, a translation technology company that helps teams and individuals manage their translation related work. More than 25,000 large and small organizations, individuals – including some of the biggest names in manufacturing, health care, and technology such as Nintendo, Siemens, Varian – use Kilgray's project management, and translation products to work smarter and deliver quality results on time.Norbert joined Kilgray at 2013 and used to be Production Manager for Kilgray, where he controlled product planning, development, QA, release, and documentation. During these years memoQ reached the level to be one of the most-used translation software.Before Kilgray he built up a solid more than 16 years long career in technology driven companies as a senior consultant and IT architect.

Peter Reynolds

Member of the Board

Peter is a localization industry veteran who joined Kilgray after having worked for Berlitz, Bowne Global Solutions, Lionbridge and Idiom Technologies Inc. Peter worked for Kilgray as an Executive Director for more than seven years, managing partnerships, training and academic programs. Today he is a member of the Kilgray Board, an entity that sets directions on the company’s long term goals. He holds an MBA from the Open University. He has been actively involved with development of translation industry standard including XLIFF at OASIS and was project editor of ISO 17100.

Norbert Oroszi

Mihály Medzihradszky

Sales Manager

Mihály Medzihradszky is the Manager for Kilgray's Sales Team which spans across 5 different countries. He has previously led a sales team at ChemAxon, a research informatics company, and ComInnex, a pre-clinical CRO where the challenges of a dynamically growing start-up R&D environment provided him with invaluable experience he is now cashing in on at Kilgray. He is the proud father of a toddler, a bike enthusiast and a great advocate of human rights and social action.

Csaba Jori

Marketing Manager

Csaba is the Marketing Manager for Kilgray. He joined Kilgray after spending 15 years in business management roles both in Hungary and on international assignments in 8 CEE countries. In these roles at Pixcall, Webfactoo, Fundamenta, 3M, MKB Bank and Credigen he gained both cross country business and management membership experiences. He has managed many successful CRM implementations, the development of a business and marketing planning framework, brand building projects, development of E-business solutions including B2B business portals, B2C Web solutions, C2C social media sites, and mobile applications. He holds an MSc. in economics from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (Corvinus) and is an experienced Six Sigma and DFSS Green Belt. His shift from the commercial, financial and technology sector to the language industry is an exciting opportunity to leverage his expertise on both leading large organizations and managing small privately owned project companies. Csaba, who is the father of a six-year-old, is a keen traveler.

Zsolt Farkas

Services Manager

Zsolt is responsible for the services Kilgray offers to users and which support the company's primary offering: memoQ translation software and Language Terminal. He manages Kilgray's IT services that enable our products to reach their target audience and the backend systems which assure the availability of these services and processes to the general public. Zsolt is constantly looking and understanding how can the company's systems can further help and support our users and business model.He has more than 20 years of experience in IT and has previously worked as Chief Information Officer in regional government offices in Hungary. He also contributed to the development of Kilgray’s products as a software designer. Zsolt has a strong preference for tennis.

Márton Horváth

Support Manager

Márton Horvath is Kilgray’s support manager and his team provides support to Kilgray’s worldwide customer base. Márton joined Kilgray in 2010 and was appointed as our first manager of the support team at the beginning of September 2012. When not working Márton is a keen gamer and particularly likes playing the games designed by some of our customers.
