UI/UX designer

We are looking for a UI/UX designer who will work with product design and development to conceive efficient and delightful interfaces. Your focus will be browser-based and desktop software, with occasional input into our web presence. You will be faced with a product portfolio that carries much legacy, and we count on you to advocate for good design principles throughout the design and implementation process.

About you

You are passionate and opinionated about your work, but understand that all great outcomes happen under the constrains of business, technology and organizational culture. You live and breathe user interfaces, and have the patience and dedication to achieve them through teamwork involving product designers, end users and developers.

You share our view that good design is part skill, part experimental science, and part black magic. You bring along your skills, and you are excited to create a culture of experimentation in your job.

Like us, you feel your work comes with a responsibility for the well-being of end users: the people that spend most of their working hours with the products we build. You understand that the purpose of productivity tools is to boost efficiency, but see no reason why they shouldn’t also be pleasing to look at.

You invest effort to stay up-to-date in the breakneck field that is frontend design. You are confident with wireframing and mockups, but you also don’t shy away from writing markup and code to knock off a quick functional prototype. It’s a huge plus if you can show us labors of love or open-source contributions, and if you are actively engaged in your professional community.

A liking for squirrels is optional but not discouraged.

  • Advocate for the right technologies and best practices in the team
  • Actively pursue new technologies

  • Work from anywhere, always in close interaction with your peers
