About the Position
In this role the Individual Translator Sales and Academic Representative will respond to inquiries from individual translators. Follows up on memoQ translator pro trial downloads. Conducts promotions for individual translators, including the graduation offers to translation students. Surveys customer satisfaction among individual translators. Recommends individual translator marketing strategies and product strategies, participates in individual translator online forums.

Responsibilities:
  • Responding to and regularly following up with sales-related inquiries from individual translators, academic institutions and translation students
  • Responding to inquiries from individual translators before purchase
  • Contacting organizations of individual translators with promotion campaigns
  • Surveying individual translators on customer satisfaction, competitive translation tools used and general product feedback, and reporting to sales manager
  • Monitoring individual translator satisfaction, reachout, competitive analyses
  • Discovering new ways of reaching out to translators and selling directly to individual translators
  • Conducting graduation campaigns for translation students, increasing sales among translation graduates
  • Regular reporting on individual sales, potentials, bottlenecks and issues
  • Promoting own conferences by individual invitation
  • Representing Kilgray at academic and individual translator conferences
  • Giving training and webinars about memoQ translator pro onsite and remotely
  • Actively chasing up universities regarding joining the academic program and license renewing program
  • Planning and organizing marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Planning, carrying out and measuring and evaluating marketing automation campaigns
 
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience on the field of marketing and/or sales
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German
  • Proactive attitude
  • Experience with translation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of memoQ, Trados or other CAT tools is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
